The BEST of Gambling Twitter 2025 | Circle Back End of Year Special | Presented by Kalshi

The Best of Gambling Twitter 2025: 10 Moments That Defined the Year (Complete Guide)

Are you tired of wading through endless timelines, trying to find the genuinely insane, must-see moments from the past year in the betting world? You feel like you missed the inside jokes and the biggest online feuds? Don't worry. We've done the heavy lifting here at Circles Off, sifting through nearly a full year of chaos to bring you only the very best content.

This special end-of-year wrap-up features your favorite hosts reviewing the highlights of best gambling twitter moments starting from February. We're talking about disastrous pick-selling attempts, bizarre behavior, epic trolling, and the on-the-record call-outs. You're about to see the funniest and most regrettable tweets of the year.

Here's What We'll Cover

  • The straight bet versus SGP debate that kicked off the year.
  • Explosive, uncomfortable moments uncovered from the L Spaces era.
  • The shockingly dedicated Rolex tweet from an ambulance.
  • How Matt Zilbert's betting history came back to haunt him.
  • The epic downfall of GRP's pick-selling service.
  • The perfect corporate hypocrisy call-out that closed the season.

The Debate: Straight Bets Take Zero Skill

We kicked off the year looking back at February content, specifically a heated argument started by SGP Vic about how straight bets require no sports knowledge. The core argument was that parlaying simple straight bets into SGPs—Same Game Parlays—is where the actual skill lies. Naturally, the panel disagreed vehemently. Think about it this way: if betting a minus 150 favorite to win takes no skill, then stacking those easy plays magically transforms them into an art form? That logic simply doesn't track for most people.

Several people jumped into the replies to challenge SGP Vic's stance:

  • One user pointed out that if your unit size is only $25, the time spent sweating a $22 potential win is better spent delivering food via DoorDash.
  • Another person noted that taking a team to win and using that same play in a parlay are essentially the same bet. If one requires no skill, the other shouldn't either.

Mike, the Anthony Joshua Backer, chimed in, suggesting those who champion SGPs for skill are missing the point about variance. They often rely on hitting a massive, lottery-ticket parlay once and convincing themselves that is the optimal way to bet. For anyone tracking the best gambling twitter content, SGP Vic was certainly confident in his takes, even if few agreed.

Unearthing the Cringe: Insights from the L Spaces Era

The early part of the year, specifically February and March, was defined by the intensity of the L Spaces. It was a wild time where absurdity reigned supreme nightly. It felt like 10 years ago, not just eight months ago, due to the sheer volume of shocking behavior.

One of the most memorable and uncomfortable moments involved Steve Fezic. A quote surfaced where he discussed finding people under 18 attractive, with stated exceptions. The replies were immediate and cutting. Sharp Clark brought up the classic "half your age plus seven" rule, while Mike effectively summed up the absurdity by comparing the situation to Jeffrey Epstein memes, dubbing Fezic, "the pixeller."

What was crazy is that this controversy seemed tame compared to what quickly followed. This era, though brief, brought out something ugly in people who got addicted to the nightly drama. Rob admitted he was bolt upright, going to the garage to chain smoke while listening right next to his sleeping child, needing to absorb every disgusting interaction.

We also saw the rise and fall of "Elf." Initially respected for calling out scams, the narrative quickly shifted. People worried he was getting too close to the very people he was meant to expose. Warnings surfaced, such as one person praying he "stays strong" after seeing him celebrate the lifestyle of touts he previously ridiculed. The consensus became that while Elf pursued content and attention at all costs, his moral compass was nonexistent, leading to his rapid burn-out from the conversation.

The Rolex in the Ambulance: A True Classic

Sometimes content transcends pure sports discussion. In February, we saw absolute gold when Vegas T-Bone got into a serious car accident, flipping his car onto a dark mountain road and ending up in a creek bed. Rescued, and while sitting in the back of the ambulance, his first priority wasn't calling family or checking his injuries. It was creating content.

His tweet? "Rolex can take licking but keeps on tinking ticking," sending thanks to the person who gifted him the watch. Jeff said this tweet alone justifies the existence of the show. It's this type of bizarre, self-aware absurdity, witnessed safely from the outside, that makes watching best gambling twitter worthwhile. If life is flashing before your eyes, but your watch is fine, what else matters? It was a true highlight, especially since we know T-Bone managed to walk away okay.

Matt Zilbert and the Editing Fiasco

April brought the spectacular self-immolation of Matt Zilbert. After a brief, uncomfortable return to relevance largely orchestrated by Rob platforming him for Super Bowl props, Zilbert attempted to cash in on an under bet involving total runs for a Giants vs. Yankees game. The bet was on FanDuel, which had house rules stating the under would grade as a Loss if the game went past eight innings without being rained out.

Zilbert allegedly edited his public Deadspin article *after* the game ended—which was stopped early due to rain—claiming the bet was placed on Caesars, where a rainout would warrant a push (void). He tried to turn a definite Loss into a Push by retroactively changing the evidence. When critics demanded the original article's metadata or the submission email to the editor, Zilbert repeatedly refused. Rob admitted platforming him was a mistake, a decision he now deeply regrets, noting the volume of traffic it generated temporarily couldn't outweigh the resulting annoyance.

The consensus was clear: Zilbert chose to live long enough to become the villain rather than die a hero. This entire saga provided an incredible amount of content, much to the chagrin of those who initially gave him a second chance.

The Saga of Jeff Nadu’s No-Fly List Drama

If one event unified the entire Twitter sphere in July, it was the saga of Jeff Nadu flying domestically. It started as a joke based on lingering rumors that he was on the no-fly list. The tension escalated until Nadu confirmed, point blank, that he was *not* flying because his alarm did not go off. That was confirmation for many that the no-fly list rumors might actually be true.

When his flight was canceled later that day, the tinfoil hats went on full tilt. But then the climax: Barstool Sportsbook had eyes on the gate, tracking the event live, and Jeff Nadu *did* get on the plane. The confusion, the collective sweat, and the eventual confirmation that the man could, in fact, fly, made this the number one trending topic on Twitter that day. Kesh was reportedly furious after repeatedly claiming Nadu couldn't fly, even reportedly receiving personal, heartfelt DMs from Nadu begging him to stop spreading doubt about his ability to board a commercial aircraft.

GRP’s Pick Selling Retirement and The Secret Formula

September featured the anticlimactic attempt by GRP to launch a pick-selling service utilizing outdated payment methods like checks and Western Union. It stalled immediately. Nobody was buying, except perhaps one high school friend.

Following this failure, GRP announced a "big announcement," offering four options, leading to the conclusion that he was selling his "secret formula"—reportedly for $250,000—and briefly retiring from NFL sides. Jeff, GRP's biggest fan among the crew, recounted his real-life interactions, noting that GRP seems to know how to keep the audience engaged even after disappointing them. The biggest highlight here was GRP getting flown to Vegas in a limo orchestrated by Jeff Benson—who provided the room and the dinner—only for GRP to fail to enter the contest he was supposed to participate in. Benson, apparently, has not forgiven him for that.

The Worst Bet: A Worse Priced Parlay

October brought statistical absurdity when a poster named at bet with the boys showcased what they claimed was the "most $767 in the history of the world." This two-leg parlay was structurally impossible to be profitable. It required a Clemson money line at minus 558 and a Penn State money line at minus 274, creating a final SGP price of minus 652.

The problem? If the user had *only* bet the Clemson money line, they would have secured a better price than the final parlay odds.

One user commented that the poster was an idiot for not realizing the odds were worse than the individual leg. While the poster claimed it was a joke, many replied that it wasn't funny. It highlighted a massive failure in self-editing and understanding basic mathematical principles, a key theme in the best gambling twitter segments this year.

Void Culture: The Bomb on the Field

November featured perhaps the most extreme thought experiment about "void culture" regarding kicker props. Greg Aaronburgg proposed: If a fan ran onto the field at kickoff with a bomb strapped to their chest, took out the kicker, and the game resumed after cleanup, should the kicker's over/under prop bet be voided? The crew agreed that in such a catastrophic, violent scenario, a void would be necessary, distinguishing this from standard rain delays or bad beats. This tweet was instantly deemed a Hall of Fame singular moment of dark comedy.

The Final Shot: Rob Gets Called Out

For the grand finale, Jeff masterminded a segment aimed squarely at Rob. Rob frequently preaches on the show that if people truly find the NFL product "unwatchable," they should simply stop watching and betting. Jeff, Kirk, and Jacob compiled a montage of Rob's past tweets where he himself called the NFL unwatchable, often specifically noting he needed recreational drugs to get through it.

Rob had no idea it was coming until the tweets popped up on screen. He had to own the hypocrisy immediately but admitted the scheme was clever. This perfectly encapsulated the spirit of best gambling twitter—holding people accountable, even your own friends, for the content they produce. It was the perfect capstone for the 2025 review.

Final Thoughts

Looking back over these major events, from absurd tweets in ambulances to calculated attempts to edit betting history, the past year on gambling Twitter has been relentless. We saw highs like the unified focus on Jeff Nadu's flight, and extreme lows, like people trying to sell non-winning picks based on fake evidence. Remember that authenticity matters, but content, even the rage-bait variety, always finds an audience.

[00:34] It's the end of the year. We have

[00:35] something very special for you on the

[00:37] circles of channel. We are going through

[00:39] the best of gambling Twitter for 2025 at

[00:42] this very very special edition of

[00:44] Circleback here on the circles of

[00:46] channel which is part of the heron bed

[00:47] network and this channel is proudly

[00:49] presented by KI. If you know, Circle

[00:51] Back from this year of content, it's the

[00:54] show where we go through the latest and

[00:55] greatest news that comes from gambling

[00:58] Twitter. And it is a wonder that this

[00:59] show isn't even a year old. It's almost

[01:01] a year old, which means we have nearly a

[01:03] full year of content to go through,

[01:05] which is why we had to assemble an

[01:07] absolute super team to join me, your

[01:09] host, Jacob Germena. I am a content

[01:12] creator and producer here at the Hammer

[01:13] Betting Network. And on the screen right

[01:15] now, we have CEO of the Heron Betting

[01:17] Network, Rob Pizzola, basketball

[01:19] originator, Kirk Evans,

[01:22] Anthony Joshua Backer, Mike aka Mr.

[01:25] Peanut Better, The Sophisticated Square,

[01:27] Jeff Fineberg, and co-host on Hit the

[01:30] Books, Joey Kesh. How is everyone

[01:32] feeling, Rob? Maybe we'll get a word

[01:34] from you here. It's amazing. Like, this

[01:36] show started, I think, in February,

[01:37] right after the Super Bowl. It's

[01:38] amazing. It hasn't even been a year yet

[01:40] on this channel on this show. I mean,

[01:42] working with Jeff and Kirk and you,

[01:44] Jake. Honestly, I would have thought

[01:45] this show started in 2018. It feels like

[01:48] forever. I can't I'm actually floored

[01:50] that we only started this show this

[01:51] year. So, uh I can't wait to look back

[01:54] at the We don't know what's coming. None

[01:55] of us know what's coming except for you,

[01:57] Jacob. And uh we had some beauties this

[01:59] year that uh I'm I'm I'm waiting to see

[02:02] what we got.

[02:03] >> So, how I've arranged this

[02:04] >> Jacob was saying that he was amazed it's

[02:06] only been a year. I thought he was

[02:06] saying it was it's amazing we haven't

[02:08] been sued yet. It's amazing this lasted

[02:11] a full year.

[02:12] >> That's true. There's been there's

[02:13] perhaps been some attempts behind the

[02:14] scenes, but nothing concrete as of yet.

[02:17] Uh maybe some might come up because of

[02:19] this show and if someone features more

[02:21] than once on the show, but how I've

[02:22] divided I've just gone month by month.

[02:24] I've been saving up content throughout

[02:26] the year. I've gone through my master

[02:28] list. I've trimmed it down as much as I

[02:30] can. We're going month by month for the

[02:31] best content starting in February

[02:33] because that is when the show actually

[02:35] began. A little bit of an appetizer. Not

[02:37] going too deep, but I really liked this

[02:39] one and laughed looking bad at it. Back

[02:40] at it, but it was SGP Vic big board bets

[02:44] talking about how it takes zero sports

[02:46] knowledge and zero skill to do straight

[02:48] bets. As I've shown in the past when I

[02:50] flipped a coin on 10 games and won eight

[02:52] out of 10. Obviously, everyone doesn't

[02:54] feel the same way and that's totally

[02:56] fine. But to me, taking a bunch of plays

[02:58] and parlaying them into something crazy

[03:01] is more of an art that takes skill. And

[03:04] there was a good conversation brewing in

[03:06] the replies that was brought up at the

[03:07] time by DK_DFS

[03:10] saying, "This app is truly the gift that

[03:12] keeps on giving." We had Daniel who

[03:14] replied and said, "There's no benefit of

[03:16] straight betting unless your unit size

[03:18] can actually make you money." So,

[03:19] anything above $250 unit size is worth

[03:22] it. It's a complete waste of time to

[03:24] straight bet $25 while sweating a 2hour

[03:27] rigged game for $22 back. Just Door Dash

[03:31] at that point. Sergio said, "100%, bro.

[03:34] That logic of you to bet straight bets

[03:37] as real gambling is ridiculous. Like you

[03:39] said, it doesn't take much talent to

[03:41] take a minus 150 favorite to win. Like

[03:44] no [ __ ] lol." But put together a parlay

[03:48] and it wins takes research, knowledge,

[03:51] and skill. So, um, who wants to have a

[03:54] first crack? I mean, how about the

[03:55] Anthony Joshua backer? Mike, uh, you

[03:58] laid like a minus a thousand. I mean,

[04:00] that took no skill whatsoever.

[04:03] >> It's like they're so close to finding

[04:05] out the point here and they're just so

[04:07] far away. Not understanding variance in

[04:10] any way that they're like, "Oh, it's

[04:11] just luck. It's complete variance. Uh,

[04:14] you can flip a coin." And then using

[04:16] these SGPS is the reason that that's

[04:18] what it actually takes skill. And then

[04:20] also saying, "Well, if you only have $25

[04:23] to bet, there's no point. Like, there's

[04:25] a reason you have $25 to bet here. It's

[04:27] because you don't understand what's

[04:29] going on here." So SGP Vic is a bit of a

[04:31] favorite of mine. I love uh the term

[04:33] water it down. So I it was great that he

[04:36] got to start the year off.

[04:37] >> Yeah, I'm with you on that one. I think

[04:39] I think SGP Vic has had the most like

[04:43] headscratching tweets of the year. If I

[04:45] had to single out one, but he he's so

[04:47] confident in the way that he tweets as

[04:49] well. Like all of this is right. That's

[04:51] what really gets me about a lot of the

[04:52] guys on gambling Twitter who are just

[04:54] like so confident that their opinion is

[04:56] right. It's like yeah, why bet

[04:58] straights? Especially these guys who

[04:59] just like live in the SGP world where

[05:01] they won one huge one in the past at

[05:04] like a massive price on the biggest

[05:06] fluke ever and they've convinced

[05:07] themselves that like this is this is the

[05:09] way you you need to be skilled rather

[05:12] than realizing that they hit a lottery

[05:14] ticket. It's nuts.

[05:16] >> I have a couple more here from this

[05:18] conversation. If straight bets take zero

[05:20] knowledge and skill, then how the [ __ ]

[05:21] does combining those same straight bets

[05:23] into a parlay magically transform the

[05:26] plays into an art that requires skill?

[05:28] The reply from SGP Vicqua, it's not

[05:30] those same straight bets to actually

[05:32] take players to specifically do

[05:34] something takes skill beyond saying a

[05:36] team will win or lose. Maybe not

[05:37] understanding that you could actually

[05:39] bet on player props on their own. I did

[05:41] it for three days straight. Do you

[05:43] really think looking at tonight's game

[05:44] and just saying Lakers minus 12 and a

[05:46] half takes any skill? because I bet the

[05:48] same person has two accounts will say

[05:50] Charlotte plus 12 and a half on the

[05:52] other that this goes back to the old

[05:54] days when people would call in for their

[05:56] bets. U Jeff Kesh either of you does

[05:59] this go back to the days when you'd call

[06:01] in for bets like it was just so easy

[06:03] back in the day wasn't it?

[06:04] >> Give me give me you first.

[06:06] >> I honestly I don't really have any

[06:08] followup here. The the thread sort of

[06:11] you know they keep digging their their

[06:13] own brain is peanut

[06:16] >> good. I didn't have [ __ ] either. Yeah, a

[06:18] better set. Dave,

[06:19] >> that was my I was pretending to be

[06:21] courteous, but I didn't have anything

[06:22] good.

[06:22] >> Yeah, they sort of exposed themselves.

[06:25] >> I'm sure you'll have plenty of takes

[06:27] throughout the rest of the show. So, we

[06:28] can move on to the next segment here. Uh

[06:31] I didn't want to make this first cuz I

[06:33] didn't want the hard the hard hitter

[06:34] going first here. But back in February

[06:37] when the L spaces were really started to

[06:38] take off, there was a very interesting

[06:40] debate that took place with Steve Fezic.

[06:43] Um this is a quote that was brought by

[06:46] man of the vig at vig police who says uh

[06:48] the point is if GRP wins find someone

[06:51] attractive that is 17 it is no big deal

[06:54] in my opinion that is per FezIC at

[06:56] Fezsix sports um got a hashtag circle

[06:59] back elf even added on saying quote I do

[07:01] find some 17year-olds attractive and I

[07:04] would never talk to them in that manner

[07:06] and then later in the clip he says it's

[07:08] very rare I would find someone under 18

[07:10] attractive but there are exceptions

[07:12] that's coming from Steve Fezic. There's

[07:14] the audio clip as well that was posted

[07:17] with this one on Twitter. And I really

[07:18] love the replies that came from it

[07:20] because Sharp Clark said, "Feedsic is

[07:22] good at math, but it's too bad nobody

[07:23] taught him the half your age plus seven

[07:25] rule." And and Mike, you you you quoted

[07:27] this and said, "I do think he's a sharp

[07:29] guy." Meme really is reaching the next

[07:31] level. And then you added on the photo

[07:33] from that Conan podcast where it was

[07:35] about Jeffrey Rebstein, like the Wall

[07:38] Street guy, and you said Steve Fezic,

[07:41] the pixeller. Uh Andy Moler showcased a

[07:44] blackjack hand of seven and 10 saying

[07:46] I'm catching up on the gambling Twitter

[07:47] spaces. Uh GRP Fezic, do you hit or

[07:50] stand on this? And the last one from

[07:52] deep value better to speak in terms FZ

[07:54] can understand the difference between 17

[07:56] and a half and 18 is like plus two and a

[07:58] half and three close in distance but

[08:00] meaningful difference. So really like I

[08:03] think the replies are really the stars

[08:05] there. But man, looking back on that, I

[08:07] can't believe that was all the way back

[08:09] in February. Who wants the first crack

[08:10] on this this tough?

[08:11] >> What a what a perfect day for this to

[08:14] come out. Has anyone checked the files

[08:16] for

[08:16] >> Fez?

[08:20] >> Maybe they were blocked out in the

[08:21] photos. We don't want to reveal them.

[08:23] >> You know what was really crazy about

[08:25] that time is that that that was probably

[08:27] like not even top 20 crazy things that

[08:29] happened on spaces over the course of

[08:31] three months. Like every single night it

[08:34] got more and more absurd. I forgot that

[08:36] even existed because it just like blew

[08:38] over the next day because something

[08:40] equally more insane happened like the

[08:42] next night like show era feels like it

[08:45] was 10 years ago not like eight months

[08:48] ago like like I I can't believe this was

[08:51] even that recent people say time FL no

[08:53] that feels like it was like in a

[08:55] different lifetime ago

[08:56] >> but you know what it's we say that like

[08:58] it's p the spaces era still exists we

[09:01] just we just don't take part in it

[09:03] anymore

[09:03] >> but do you think you'll take part in it

[09:05] like when football season's over again.

[09:08] >> I can't I cannot

[09:11] >> Yeah, I think it's I see no way that I'm

[09:14] taking part in it. But it brought out

[09:17] some like disgusting behavior in me last

[09:20] year. Like some people like I'd just be

[09:22] like putting my kid to bed like lying in

[09:25] bed with her trying to get her to sleep

[09:27] and I would see someone pop in there and

[09:30] I would like bolt. I'd put my boots on,

[09:33] my jacket on. I'd like go to the garage

[09:35] and I would like chain smoke the drama.

[09:38] I It was like It was It brought out the

[09:41] worst in me in just like how I would my

[09:44] listening habits. I mean, it

[09:46] >> I was up till 3:00 a.m. every single

[09:48] night just like had this I I be watching

[09:52] TV and listening at the It's impossible

[09:54] to do accomplish that at the same time.

[09:56] You're not absorbing anything, but then

[09:57] all of a sudden someone's name gets

[09:59] brought up. Those were crazy times for

[10:01] sure.

[10:02] >> Yeah, a lot of content from the show

[10:04] came from that. But this next piece of

[10:05] content didn't come from the spaces.

[10:07] This is this is one I think Jeff is

[10:09] going to remember quite fondly. It is of

[10:11] course at Vegas T-Bone. Uh I think he

[10:14] got into a car accident and he was in an

[10:16] ambulance. But while he was in the

[10:18] ambulance, he took a video of himself

[10:20] flexing his Rolex saying Rolex can take

[10:23] licking but keeps on tinking ticking.

[10:26] Thanks at Steve will do it. who I

[10:28] believe gave him the Rolex. But this is

[10:30] one that comes up a every month or so. I

[10:33] think this one gets brought up. What an

[10:34] absolute classic. Jeff, uh what what you

[10:36] what are you so fond of with this one?

[10:38] >> It's one of my favorite tweets or

[10:40] sequences of the year. I mean, thank God

[10:43] T-Bone is okay. And that allows there to

[10:46] be a humor element. Without that, you

[10:49] know, it's sort of a completely

[10:50] different conversation and potentially a

[10:53] morbid one. But he flips his car. Uh,

[10:57] correct me if I'm wrong, like into a

[10:58] creek, into a riverbed. That's what,

[11:01] >> you know, on a curvy, you know, very

[11:04] dark mountain road, like an incredibly

[11:06] scary situation. And his send off to let

[11:10] us know, you know, to make contact with

[11:13] the world is to let us know the Rolex is

[11:16] still rocking from the back of an

[11:18] ambulance. The show almost exists for

[11:22] these sorts of tweets. Like it's tweets

[11:24] like this as to why I think like sure

[11:27] there's hardened probed air debating but

[11:31] that is the reason to me that this show

[11:34] um exists because as I often say I can't

[11:38] like talk to my friends in real life

[11:41] with real jobs about T-Bone but Rob

[11:45] created a likeminded space where we

[11:47] could get together and discuss something

[11:50] like this. Yeah, very accurate way to

[11:53] describe that.

[11:54] >> Yeah, I don't have much more to

[11:56] obviously I've beefed with T-Bone over

[11:58] the course of the year right now, so I

[12:00] don't want to go in go in too deep, but

[12:03] honestly, I can't imagine what's got to

[12:05] be going through your mind to be like

[12:07] your life is flashing before your eyes.

[12:09] You know, you go off like a a [ __ ]

[12:12] like it like you're off the road, you're

[12:14] into a creek, like you gota

[12:18] medics come, they're trying to save you,

[12:19] like pull you out of the water, and

[12:20] you're like in the back of the

[12:21] ambulance. Like, I got to tweet that my

[12:24] Rolex is still good.

[12:26] >> Before you call family, you tweet.

[12:29] >> They don't even know if you're okay, but

[12:30] they they're like, "Oh, thank God about

[12:33] his Rolex." At least the Rolex

[12:34] >> the Rolex that he was given by a uh an

[12:38] influencer in a crash that

[12:43] >> I how

[12:46] I know what you're getting AT.

[12:47] >> I I KNOW I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BEATING

[12:49] around here, Joey. That maybe alleged

[12:52] substances could have been at play. that

[12:54] I would have laid Anthony Joshua Prices

[12:57] that he was intoxicated, but somehow

[13:01] apparently did not get arrested for DUI

[13:04] in that crash.

[13:05] >> Then he must have been okay.

[13:07] >> I must be right. I guess I guess he must

[13:09] have been

[13:10] >> Yeah, I don't know. having had a couple

[13:12] real life interactions with T-Bone like

[13:14] this probably 15 years ago um in Vegas,

[13:19] he seems to be like a guy despite how

[13:22] like crazy he is and he has his like

[13:25] niche angles that he can crush. He seems

[13:27] to be a guy that like

[13:30] knows when he like gives her in the

[13:33] right circumstances. I don't know if I'm

[13:35] making any sense, but like he plays

[13:37] hard, but I like he seemed like I he

[13:40] obviously wasn't drinking. He would have

[13:42] been on the hospital gurnie with a

[13:44] handcuff, I assume.

[13:45] >> I would agree with you.

[13:46] >> True.

[13:47] >> Do you think they could get the handcuff

[13:48] around the rolly?

[13:50] That's why I wasn't arrested.

[13:53] Uh, also in February, I think this is

[13:55] the last piece that we have from

[13:56] February is actually Amanda Vance, who

[13:58] made her debut on Twitter in February.

[14:01] And it was kind of like something that

[14:03] just escaped the gambling Twitter sphere

[14:05] because this was a person who became

[14:07] very big on Instagram, decided to bring

[14:09] that over to Twitter and people did not

[14:12] really like it. Here she is in the

[14:14] initial tweet. This was my first time

[14:16] ever seeing anything by Amanda Vance.

[14:18] Amanda wins essentially defending her

[14:21] pig selling service when people made

[14:22] very strong claims that it's not

[14:25] actually a winning service. If you went

[14:27] to the website, you could see that the

[14:28] picss were given out pretty much right

[14:30] at post in some of the most efficient

[14:31] markets. So noon, which is an hour

[14:34] before the NFL slate begins, or 5:00

[14:36] p.m., which is usually an hour or two

[14:38] before the NBA slate begins or NHL slate

[14:40] begins. So there was there was question

[14:42] marks about the validity of how much was

[14:44] actually being won here. I actually

[14:47] reached out to uh the people behind the

[14:50] website asking for some sort of tracking

[14:51] to give me some verification before I

[14:53] make a purchase. They denied to provide

[14:56] me such tracking until I actually bought

[14:58] one of the the pick packages. So I I

[15:00] guess there's no actual confirmation of

[15:02] whether these picks are winning or

[15:03] losing. But we can make our own

[15:04] deductions I think and inferences to say

[15:07] with not certainty but with some

[15:09] confidence if these picks are actually

[15:11] winning or not. And to provide some

[15:13] additional kind of backing to the

[15:15] website. It's alleged by Spinfluencer

[15:17] here that there was some fake reviews on

[15:20] the website to help drive sales. So,

[15:22] there was a lot of shady behavior going

[15:24] here, but it was it was quite a year of

[15:25] content that came with Amanda Vent. But,

[15:28] it is pretty remarkable, Rob, that the

[15:30] journey only began in February.

[15:32] >> You know, I will say this, I look back

[15:33] on it now and I'm like ashamed I spent

[15:36] as much time as I did being angry about

[15:38] this. I like my my my belief I don't

[15:42] think I don't get happy when people get

[15:44] screwed over by pix sellers or anything

[15:46] like that but at some point you just got

[15:48] to be like it's very obvious you know

[15:51] that you shouldn't be buying this

[15:52] person's pics and if you can't figure

[15:54] that out like maybe you at some point

[15:57] you got to own it but it's so old news

[16:00] I'm done with Amanda Vance it's all Emma

[16:01] Vance now that's all I care about

[16:03] Amanda's out the window

[16:05] >> I was going to derail us with some I I

[16:07] feel like we haven't discussed the

[16:09] what's her name? Emma Vance.

[16:11] >> Emma Vance. Yeah, she's uh Have we that

[16:14] Emma Vance posted that Giannis demanded

[16:17] a trade sponsored by Poly Market?

[16:19] Everyone's like, "This is obviously

[16:21] fake." And then Shams reported it like

[16:23] 36 hours later. Have we investigated

[16:26] that at all? She reminds me, do you

[16:28] remember during the Kawaii thing, there

[16:30] was that guy who said he had the sources

[16:32] and then he was like uh he reported that

[16:33] he was going to the Lakers. He's like

[16:35] there's a material change in uh outcomes

[16:38] or whatever. And he had like a brief run

[16:40] in the sun where everyone was like does

[16:42] he have sources? This is uh like uh the

[16:45] you know next version of that.

[16:47] >> Yes.

[16:50] >> He's taking a lot of shots.

[16:51] >> There was

[16:52] >> actually I guess I haven't seen it.

[16:54] >> Right.

[16:55] is giving this some validity when there

[16:58] WAS RUMORS GOING AROUND ALL WEEK THAT

[17:00] that and she just repackaged it with a

[17:03] photo of herself.

[17:04] >> She was first. She was all right. She

[17:06] put on a blazer and hired some security

[17:10] to walk behind her and uh now we've got

[17:13] it like breaking news coming out of that

[17:14] account all the time.

[17:15] >> I'll give them this. the Vance sisters,

[17:18] you wouldn't think there's much going on

[17:20] up here for either one. But in terms of

[17:23] content, uh, rage baiting, aggregation,

[17:26] and that, they're actually not too bad

[17:30] because you love to hate them and it

[17:33] gets it it it gets people just random

[17:36] people. I mean, she's doing the whole

[17:37] like, you know, like faking the like the

[17:40] Evans whatever the the NBA Evansburgger

[17:42] stuff that just makes up fake stuff and

[17:44] gets a bunch of traction. She like took

[17:47] that playbook and was like, "Oh, I'm I'm

[17:48] way better looking than him now. I'm

[17:50] doing it." The Vance sisters uh Yeah,

[17:52] they they they they got some skills in

[17:55] terms of the maybe not sell maybe not

[17:58] their picks, but

[18:00] selling content. They uh they know.

[18:02] >> You nailed it. You nailed it, my man.

[18:03] There was one recently where Amanda

[18:05] Vance was flying first class and she's

[18:06] like, "There's no TV." I'm like, "It's

[18:08] in your [ __ ] seat." Like, "Everyone

[18:10] knows that. It's in the it's in it's

[18:12] there." you know that. But anyways, they

[18:14] they do a great job of rage baiting. I'm

[18:18] even getting mad just thinking about it

[18:20] right now.

[18:22] >> Absolutely. Now, that takes us into the

[18:24] next month, March. Um this was I think

[18:28] the the real apex of the spaces. This

[18:32] was when it reached its peak. It has

[18:34] never been to this level again. And it

[18:37] is the Shawn Perry versus Mazy fight

[18:40] that took place. Sean Perry, Mazy went

[18:42] back and forth on Twitter. There are

[18:44] some questions if maybe this was set up

[18:47] in advance and this was going to help

[18:48] promote it, but it felt very organic at

[18:51] the time with the beef back and forth

[18:54] and it all came together into an actual

[18:56] fight. Uh, I really like this one from

[18:58] Josh at call cuss service who says two

[19:00] people that are almost identical

[19:02] ideologically but think another one

[19:05] think one another are a fraudulent are

[19:07] willing to fight till the death to prove

[19:09] that they in fact are the real thing.

[19:12] Absolute masterpiece and the fight did

[19:15] take place. It was like within 24 hours

[19:17] this happened. They met up at a gym.

[19:19] They were beefing in front of the gym.

[19:21] They went in the gym and Mazy and Shawn

[19:23] Perry had a not very good fight, but I

[19:25] think entertaining enough kind of like

[19:27] rough and rowdy vibes where Shawn Perry

[19:29] ended up becoming the winner. We got a

[19:32] pretty funny photo of Mazy uh on the

[19:34] outside of the ring laying down like

[19:36] Royal Rumble style almost and Adam at

[19:38] the NHL better says when you get 40

[19:40] cents of CLV and the team loses by 20

[19:43] points. Um, again, it feels like this

[19:45] was really the climax of the Twitter

[19:48] spaces and we'll never reach this this

[19:50] level quite again.

[19:52] >> I was all in on this. I'm not going to

[19:54] lie. I followed like that entire day. I

[19:57] was all in on that fight when Mazi

[19:59] pulled the the the video of Shawn

[20:02] Perry's bar mitzvah.

[20:04] >> Like that had to be what? One of the

[20:06] best of the Yeah, that that was like I

[20:09] watched that video 50 times over

[20:11] wondering if it was AI. I seriously did.

[20:13] I was all in on this. I hate Sean Perry.

[20:16] Absolutely can't stand him. Low-life

[20:18] loser in my opinion. But that was the

[20:21] one day where I was I was very invested

[20:24] in his content.

[20:25] >> The the two things I think of when I

[20:27] when I see this are one that Dez Bryant

[20:29] was there.

[20:31] >> Still will never will never make sense

[20:33] in my head.

[20:35] >> And two, Mazy in jail right now. Right

[20:37] now. IT WAS YEAH, I WAS GOING TO SAY

[20:40] MAZI, YOU KNOW, 6 months ago on top of

[20:43] the world from from there to federal

[20:45] prison.

[20:46] >> Yep.

[20:46] >> 6 months ago fighting in jeans in a

[20:49] boxing ring and then you know who could

[20:51] have predicted this outcome for us.

[20:53] >> Life life comes at you fast. And it also

[20:55] came fast for Elf. This was like the

[20:57] time where you know ELF was really

[20:59] respected in this space. This was a

[21:01] space that was used to help kind of

[21:03] expose frauds in the space. But then

[21:05] people started to worry that maybe he's

[21:07] getting caught up in the wrong crowd.

[21:09] Man of the vague said, "I think the more

[21:11] Elf talks of these frauds and learns how

[21:13] they live and who they party with, the

[21:15] more he envys the lifestyle. I pray he

[21:17] stays strong." David Hill says, "Kind of

[21:18] incredible how fast this elf show went

[21:20] from clowning scammers and touts to

[21:22] celebrating them. I don't get the arc at

[21:24] all." And live dog Luke with the meme of

[21:27] the guy whispering into the girl's ear

[21:28] at the club. She's clearly not

[21:30] interested. Uh, quote says, "So, Elf Ru

[21:33] is following by creating community

[21:34] around calling out scares and exposing

[21:36] them, but now he flew out to Las Vegas

[21:37] and is spending time with Shawn Perry

[21:39] and is glazing the lifestyle. We are

[21:41] getting worried is going to become a

[21:43] sell or stay true to himself." Uh, Rob,

[21:45] you had a very big falling out with Elf

[21:48] after previously having a good

[21:50] relationship. Feels like a lot of these

[21:52] kind of warning signs were very

[21:54] accurate.

[21:55] >> They were. Listen, I was very blind to

[21:57] it at the time. I really enjoyed the

[21:58] drama that was going on on a nightly it

[22:00] gave me something to do. I found it

[22:02] entertaining but uh there were a lot of

[22:04] people who just knew that this was the

[22:06] way it was going to end up and obviously

[22:07] the the signs were there and uh that

[22:09] relationship is like is non-existent at

[22:12] this point. I don't even know what's

[22:13] going on in his life anymore and what's

[22:15] happening. So um yeah, it was it was a

[22:18] good run. Lots of people saw it coming

[22:20] though. I can't say I was one of them.

[22:22] So, it's a shame like there's a tragedy

[22:25] that uh Nick Reiner had to kill his two

[22:29] parents because I could think of a lot

[22:31] of people who I would have preferred

[22:33] Nick Reiner to run into a week ago.

[22:39] >> Wow.

[22:39] >> And that's pretty much every person

[22:41] that's been brought up in the last like

[22:43] three minutes.

[22:45] >> Well,

[22:46] >> listen. I mean, God,

[22:50] that [ __ ] up. Yeah, I'll I'll try and

[22:54] follow that up with uh I I agree that

[22:58] there was a moment where like oh my god

[23:01] this show like it's going to be like is

[23:03] you know you're thinking it's this and

[23:05] now like I think I saw like a few weeks

[23:09] ago Elf is on like like the Omar and the

[23:11] Elf shows now have combined into uh into

[23:16] you know like whatever cast

[23:18] >> it's the clown show now.

[23:19] >> Yeah. Yeah. whoever whatever cast of

[23:21] characters haven't been arrested yet

[23:23] that were or are not in prison or are

[23:26] not, you know, like and that are are now

[23:28] uh on the OAR show. So yeah, I um yeah,

[23:32] it's life comes at you real fast.

[23:35] >> I used to think that, you know, Elf

[23:37] misplayed this and that like, oh, you

[23:39] could have done whatever. I I'm starting

[23:41] to think now like

[23:42] >> it was a short run. It had to be short

[23:44] for it to last. There was only everybody

[23:46] wasn't going to commit to an evening

[23:48] thing for long unless you just have no

[23:50] life or in the Omar spaces like those

[23:52] people are the people that are meant to

[23:54] battle it out on spaces for you know

[23:56] longer than a just brief stent.

[23:58] >> Yeah. shelf life was way shorter than I

[24:00] think

[24:00] >> it is amazing to Rob's point how like

[24:04] that show got me to like give a [ __ ]

[24:07] >> for like two days that Amanda Vance

[24:10] wasn't answering questions

[24:13] like and now here we are A YEAR LATER

[24:15] LIKE I COULD NOT GIVE A flying [ __ ]

[24:18] about anything that happens ever to

[24:21] Amanda Vance but for some reason for

[24:23] like a two-day period I was like driving

[24:27] myself nuts

[24:28] That elf let her like

[24:32] >> didn't they

[24:34] went to the Panthers game and then like

[24:36] she had too many drinks and wouldn't do

[24:38] the show.

[24:38] >> Yeah.

[24:39] >> And then like is dating the guy who was

[24:43] parody.

[24:44] >> Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ended up like

[24:46] actually like with one of the guys that

[24:48] came. So

[24:49] >> Yeah.

[24:50] >> Jeff made the point. It was amazing.

[24:51] Like we expected Elf, the journalist, to

[24:54] hold the important figure of Amanda

[24:55] Vance's feet to the flyer for some

[24:57] journalism here. Like

[25:00] doesn't seem pretty practical.

[25:01] >> How dare Elf be like a young horny guy.

[25:06] >> One of them.

[25:07] >> I mean, he did do the same stuff with Bo

[25:09] Wagner. So, I don't like, you know,

[25:11] maybe the horniness wasn't the uh maybe

[25:14] it was. I'm not there's anything wrong

[25:15] with that. I don't think we like I think

[25:18] this was like oh Elf like at some point

[25:21] changed and started liking Grifters.

[25:23] Like I think we were just wrong. Elf

[25:25] never was like that ever. He always was

[25:28] on their side from day one.

[25:31] >> I think he would always do anything he

[25:33] could to elevate the show. No matter

[25:35] what. It didn't matter what it was.

[25:37] There was zero moral compass. If more

[25:39] people were going to listen on a night,

[25:41] he would do it. You know,

[25:42] >> well, he did the right thing. And from

[25:44] his perspective, even if it upset some

[25:48] of us in the moment, um, or maybe you

[25:50] could say me with the comment I made a

[25:52] couple minutes ago, I feel like he used

[25:56] a lot of people that we like. Like I

[25:58] feel like he used Rob, he used Spanky.

[26:01] Yeah.

[26:02] >> He, you know, and he would like, "Thank

[26:04] you for coming in like not on a burner.

[26:06] It really helps like promote the show

[26:09] and like you're come in and that was

[26:12] it." cuz he had Benson and Spanky and

[26:14] Rob and it just it gave him a whole

[26:18] universe and some of us bit and some

[26:21] stayed longer than others.

[26:24] Well said. Next one we go to April and

[26:28] uh it was start of the year was a very

[26:30] quick rise up the ranks for Matt

[26:32] Zilbert. A real renaissance for Matt

[26:34] Zilbert, but it all came crashing down

[26:36] one fateful day in April. Just a simple

[26:39] overunder bet on the Giants against the

[26:42] Yankees.

[26:45] And uh this one well reported by Frank

[26:49] Rambo24. Jason Williams says, "Is this

[26:52] what you guys want? Someone editing

[26:54] articles after the game is over. Same

[26:57] guy texts everyone on the internet

[26:58] claiming they are not documented. This

[27:00] is just the start. Dead spin. I got

[27:02] plenty more coming." And there was

[27:04] plenty more to come as we eventually

[27:06] found out. Jacob, before you continue,

[27:08] >> you can't start here with Do it, Joey.

[27:12] >> Can you remind me

[27:16] why after years of people not caring

[27:19] about Zilbo,

[27:21] how he got back into relevancy and was

[27:24] given a platform again? Well, uh, I

[27:27] believe that his first real exposure was

[27:30] the Super Bowl player prop extravaganza

[27:33] in February of

[27:35] >> I share I share some characteristics

[27:37] with Elf. I run a content company. I'll

[27:40] do anything for views. Everyone was

[27:42] going to watch Zilbert give out his

[27:44] Super Bowl prop. It was 100% going to

[27:47] happen. In this scenario where he

[27:49] doctorred the bet, I also did a circle

[27:52] back. I remember I'm like, "Let's wait

[27:54] and let's just make wait till the

[27:56] evidence comes out on this."

[27:58] >> I REMEMBER WHEN EVERYONE HAD THEIR

[27:59] pitchforks out, you were LIKE, "GUYS,

[28:02] >> I DON'T KNOW. I MEAN,

[28:03] >> Rob is Rob is like, you know, it's like

[28:06] a a bad guy in a kids movie. There was

[28:10] like this dead creature

[28:13] um and he plugged him in. He powered him

[28:16] up again. and he has then since reached,

[28:19] you know, just creating Zilbert Havoc.

[28:22] But I don't know that I could say this

[28:26] about anything else. I if not for Rob

[28:29] platforming him on the Super Bowl show,

[28:34] it's interesting to think like if he

[28:36] even gets any traction back as a fa a

[28:41] front-facing finger. I I I I'm calling

[28:44] BS on this whole Okay, we did have him

[28:46] on the Super Bowl show. Every person

[28:48] already knew who Zilbert was. All that

[28:51] guy did was live in every single person.

[28:54] >> No, I thought Zilbert I thought his avy

[28:57] was just like A GENERIC PICTURE IN A in

[29:00] a picture frame like camera before.

[29:04] >> He looked like it looked like a guy from

[29:06] like a picture frame in a store.

[29:09] >> YEAH,

[29:09] >> THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT it was. You can

[29:12] blame me. I didn't give him a panel at

[29:14] Bet Bash. I'll tell you that. I didn't

[29:16] put him up in front of an audience, you

[29:18] know, talking about NFL futures. So, you

[29:20] know, people people see that the that

[29:22] he's he draws a crowd for some reason.

[29:25] With that said, today, literally today,

[29:27] I had to leave a conversation. Man, this

[29:29] guy

[29:29] >> I noticed I noticed you were no longer

[29:31] tagged in these circles off post because

[29:33] of the replies on it.

[29:34] >> I I

[29:36] DM' this guy like a dozen times. I'm

[29:38] like, "Nobody gives a [ __ ] about your

[29:41] like you're and you he thinks he's like

[29:43] saving the industry by going after

[29:45] everyone else and like where's your

[29:47] documented record?" Guys, I to the

[29:50] audience, I will apologize. It was a big

[29:52] mistake. Hindsight, if I could go back

[29:55] in time, I would reverse my course of

[29:57] action because I'm so annoyed with the

[29:59] whole thing. But

[30:02] you got like we we did we did good

[30:04] numbers for that Super Bowl. As soon as

[30:06] he went CAME ON, MAN, IT WAS JUST

[30:07] [ __ ] flying up.

[30:09] >> You're doing I I don't I'm guessing you

[30:11] you're going to do multi-day and I hope

[30:13] he gets his spot again.

[30:16] >> Did it win last year? I know he bought

[30:17] points.

[30:18] >> Yeah, the overunder.

[30:19] >> He bought the total of the game. And it

[30:21] was

[30:23] like, I'm not going for this small ass

[30:26] props. I'm going right to it.

[30:28] >> He didn't buy points, guys. He didn't

[30:30] buy points. He bought point.

[30:32] >> He bought points.

[30:33] >> Right. Well, in this scenario, he was

[30:36] just making a simple under eight runs in

[30:40] the game minus 105 at FanDuel and then

[30:43] all of a sudden said, "Let's hope this

[30:45] game gets rain rained out because in the

[30:47] Giants Yankees about before the ninth

[30:49] for no action," which was strange

[30:52] because at FanDuel,

[30:55] if it goes over the eight, it's going to

[30:58] sell because per their rules, settle as

[31:01] per the ADAP innings rule, except for

[31:03] when the result has already been

[31:05] unequivocally determined, which it was

[31:08] in this instance. Now on Caesar's, it's

[31:11] a little bit different. If it does get

[31:13] rained out, the bet actually voids. So

[31:16] the claim here is that Matt Zilbert went

[31:19] to his dead spin article, edited the

[31:21] pick to be at Caesars rather than

[31:23] FanDuel, therefore giving him now a

[31:24] worse price at minus 110 in order to get

[31:27] a push. Sorry, it's actually eight runs

[31:29] in order to get a push rather than a

[31:31] loss. She edited a bet in order to get a

[31:33] push instead of a loss. Now, I wasn't

[31:36] able I tried I tried I tried to dig up

[31:39] the actual is it the metadata of the

[31:42] website.

[31:43] >> You don't have to worry about it, Jacob.

[31:45] It's clearcut, man. We gave this guy a

[31:47] million opportunities. All he had to do

[31:49] was forward the email that he sent the

[31:51] article in because he sends his article

[31:53] to to an editor at DeadSpin. All he had

[31:56] to do was forward that to one person. it

[31:59] would have shown what the original

[32:00] article looked like. He refused to do

[32:02] that. It's done. He He has these He has

[32:06] in his mind

[32:07] >> to this day indisputable evidence and

[32:10] he's never done that. So, as far as I'm

[32:11] concerned, you don't even need the

[32:13] metadata.

[32:13] >> Well, the metadata did showcase that

[32:15] there was an edit after midnight after

[32:17] the game was finished to change uh or

[32:19] maybe during it was there was it was

[32:21] edited well after it was posted and this

[32:24] is this is the very very strong claim

[32:26] that exists. Uh, we had

[32:27] >> charges Zilbert can't beat. Only only

[32:30] off the field can he beat those charges.

[32:33] >> Nick Rambo said, "Our friend Mr. Zilber

[32:35] has been caught with his hand in the

[32:37] cookie jar. Celebrating a Yankees game

[32:38] canceled pre eight and a half innings.

[32:40] There's just one minor problem. As per

[32:42] FanDuel rules, his underbet will still

[32:43] grade an L a lot and also lots of other

[32:46] books have the same rule. Not Caesars as

[32:48] I mentioned. Mr. Peanut Better, this was

[32:50] when your goat let you down. You said,

[32:52] "Did Zilbert really change the book? He

[32:54] took the under. You either die a hero or

[32:56] live long enough to become the villain.

[32:57] I am crushed. RIP to the cat. Trent,

[33:01] book it with Trent. [ __ ] hate Zilbert

[33:04] said, "Unbelievable, but not surprised.

[33:06] You gave out a [ __ ] play, prayed for a

[33:08] rain delay, and scammed all your

[33:10] followers who didn't get refunded of

[33:12] your [ __ ] wager and then changed the

[33:13] article overnight thinking no one would

[33:15] see that you claimed to have it placed

[33:17] on a different book that voided it.

[33:19] Loser behavior." Uh, wow. Yeah. Yeah,

[33:22] >> that was uh that was really an electric

[33:24] week. I gotta say

[33:26] >> it was

[33:26] >> of content when that one came out.

[33:28] >> Once metadata started getting posted,

[33:29] you know, people were really in the

[33:31] weeds. Yeah. Like that's that's

[33:32] >> for real. For real. Next one. Uh this is

[33:36] uh this is something we're in April now,

[33:39] right? This is something that initially

[33:40] occurred in March. This was really like

[33:42] the seed that planted this content. It

[33:44] was uh NBA green beans against Man of

[33:47] the Library. Man of the library was in

[33:49] the bathroom trying to trying to incite

[33:51] a fight with Brett Fin Brian Fines at

[33:55] NBA Green Beans. Man of the vag

[33:58] 69 says to be honest everyone in this

[34:00] video is acting like a [ __ ] idiot.

[34:02] Would any of you want your kids/ future

[34:04] children scene you act like this? Get in

[34:06] the boxing and hash it out that way. But

[34:08] this this is [ __ ] stupid. We're all

[34:11] dumber watch this [ __ ] and get in the

[34:13] boxing ring. They did. Uh Brett Fer

[34:17] said, "These idiots of Gam Twitter are

[34:18] really giving Gary all the fuel he needs

[34:20] to weasel out of boxing MMA match

[34:22] against me. This guy is completely full

[34:24] of [ __ ] Anyone who thinks I didn't

[34:25] press him and stand on bid when Larry

[34:27] pulled up is a [ __ ] Replay the tape."

[34:29] That was the seed. They did get in the

[34:32] ring. Um I I was trying to remember what

[34:34] is the amount they had to pay Manda

[34:36] Library to show up. Was it

[34:38] >> I think it was $2,000. I could be wrong,

[34:40] but I think

[34:40] >> a,000 or 2,000.

[34:42] >> Yeah, it got up.

[34:43] >> It's not a lot. Yeah,

[34:44] >> he got in the ring and I have had this

[34:46] photo saved

[34:49] my computer since it happened

[34:52] absolutely feeding him a punch through

[34:55] the outside of the ring as the ref is

[34:57] laughing watching it happen. Uh really

[35:00] really good fight. I just love like when

[35:03] an overweight guy refuses to take off

[35:05] his shirt in the most like obvious

[35:07] scenario where you should take off your

[35:09] shirt like in a like you're fighting and

[35:12] he still feels the need to keep his

[35:14] shirt on to fight Brett Feines on who

[35:16] has like an Anthony Joshua versus Jake

[35:17] Paul size advantage against him might I

[35:20] say uh although man was was upset

[35:24] because he didn't have the full

[35:26] protection in the face gear whereas

[35:28] Brett Feines did and maybe that's the

[35:29] reason he lost the Okay, Rob [ __ ] said

[35:31] it was at this moment I did not like my

[35:33] bet because I'm sure he had action on

[35:36] Man of the Library because you actually

[35:37] bet on this stuff when it took place.

[35:39] But Rob, you are not a fan of Man of the

[35:41] Library. I'm sure you enjoyed this as

[35:42] much as I did.

[35:43] >> Well, I did at the time. I can't even

[35:45] look back on it fondly because I think I

[35:46] might actually dislike NBA green beans

[35:48] even more than I like dislike Library.

[35:50] Like these are two of the biggest idiots

[35:52] on the planet. Absolute clowns. So, I

[35:54] can't even enjoy looking back on that in

[35:56] real time. I was messaging Brett. And

[35:58] I'm like, "Thank God you [ __ ] laid

[36:00] waste to this guy." But now like Brett

[36:02] is even worse in my book. So I It's

[36:05] disappointing. I I should have a much

[36:07] better response to that because uh

[36:09] library is just a goof. Complete goof.

[36:13] >> I like that first tweet that's like,

[36:15] "Would your children be proud to to see

[36:18] you guys acting this way?" Hash it out

[36:21] in a rim. Like your children would be

[36:22] proud that you went in Vegas.

[36:24] >> They're proud of this photo right here.

[36:25] >> Take it from the bathroom to the ring.

[36:27] Of course. Yeah, there's the prideful

[36:29] event right there.

[36:30] >> Jeez,

[36:31] >> it was just a natural evolution.

[36:32] >> I got to say, man, I really wish Brett

[36:36] just went into that bathroom and [ __ ]

[36:38] beat the [ __ ] out of him in there. Like,

[36:40] him not going in there was just such a

[36:42] lame.

[36:43] >> We We made such a big deal about him not

[36:46] fighting him there, didn't like we we

[36:47] were like, "Oh, wow." The library

[36:50] girlfriend.

[36:51] >> Yeah, his girlfriend was there. library

[36:52] had LIKE SOME

[36:53] >> THE LIBRARY had his man purse and he

[36:56] wanted a small confined space where he

[36:59] could hop on Brett's back and like

[37:02] chloroform him. I don't blame anyone for

[37:05] not getting in like a 4x4 box with

[37:07] Library.

[37:09] >> Did I say that right? I know I usually

[37:11] uh Yeah.

[37:12] >> Library needed to quit right there.

[37:14] Jerry Seinfeld like race style where

[37:16] you're like I will never race again.

[37:17] Like I was in the bathroom. Like

[37:19] >> he had to have known deep down when he

[37:21] got into that ring that things were

[37:22] going to go poorly for him.

[37:23] >> Yeah. But he got he got paid.

[37:24] >> But he's so poor, Mike, that he had to

[37:26] take the money.

[37:27] >> And and not to like, you know, shame a

[37:29] guy for taking the money, but this is a

[37:31] guy who claims to be betting this like

[37:32] absorbent amount of money all the time,

[37:35] >> going out for 2K or whatever it was to

[37:38] get his ass beat in front of a camera.

[37:41] Maybe not as much money as he claimed to

[37:43] have. Um, also in April, we had the one

[37:47] of my favorite episodes of Circle Back.

[37:48] It was the GRP verse parody episode.

[37:51] This is the time of year where there was

[37:52] all these parody GRP accounts. There was

[37:54] alien GRP wins. Giorgio Rigotoni

[37:58] Panagaki. My personal favorite. George

[38:01] Riley Nuind Panagakis. Uh, that's way

[38:05] GRP News is is the best name that came

[38:07] out of it where you have him eating

[38:09] sushi. You had like the Italian one at

[38:11] GRP pawn gron [ __ ] with Italian food.

[38:14] There was one version of him in Braille

[38:17] and we played the game. Is it a real GRP

[38:19] tweet or is it one of the parody

[38:20] accounts? We made for some really fun

[38:22] content there. Um I don't know if

[38:24] anybody has anything to add, but I

[38:26] really enjoyed this little mini era of

[38:28] gambling Twitter.

[38:28] >> That was one of our one of my favorite

[38:30] episodes ever. That game we played where

[38:32] we had to pick whether it was real or

[38:34] not and we had like all these little

[38:36] nuances that we knew from the real GRP

[38:38] account. That was one of my favorite

[38:40] things that I've ever done in content.

[38:42] It got it got stale quickly. Like

[38:45] there's these accounts still exist and

[38:46] they're tweeting at each other all the

[38:48] time. I don't know who's

[38:49] >> still tweeting.

[38:50] >> Oh, hund There's more than that. There's

[38:51] like

[38:52] >> I thought it was I just these accounts

[38:54] were dead. I haven't

[38:55] >> Yeah. No, no, they're still they're

[38:57] still out there. There's more. There's

[38:58] way more of them. But that was a fun.

[39:00] >> Maybe one day. Go back and uh reminisce

[39:02] a little bit. Let's head into June

[39:04] because there was nothing actually that

[39:06] made the cut for me from May. So, we're

[39:08] going to fast forward from April, April,

[39:10] excuse me, all the way into June. First

[39:12] up here, we had the real fats take on

[39:15] the entire McDonald's corporation

[39:18] because when he was in an empty

[39:20] drive-thru, his food was going to take a

[39:22] bit longer than expected. So, they asked

[39:24] him to pull up into a parking spot where

[39:26] they would bring the food out to his

[39:29] car. All it do is park for a little bit

[39:31] of time. uh at my local McDonald's. That

[39:34] parking lot is legitimately still in the

[39:36] drive-thru in in some other McDonald's.

[39:38] Yes, that could be in the parking lot,

[39:40] but there was a novel or two written

[39:43] every single day saying things like

[39:46] this. Since you have been ducking me for

[39:48] the last two days now, let's simplify

[39:50] the entire issue. Just answer this one

[39:52] question. If a customer in the

[39:54] drive-thru line has ordered at the menu

[39:56] wall, paid for the food at the first

[39:57] window, and now pulled up to the second

[39:59] window to be handed their food, and

[40:01] there is no other cars at any point in

[40:03] the drive-thru lane, and you're now

[40:05] alone at the food pickup window, is

[40:07] there any justifiable reason why at the

[40:10] time I would be asked to pull out of

[40:13] line to wait in a designated area for

[40:15] someone to bring my food out to me?

[40:18] Hashtag. Answer the question. I love

[40:20] when like boomers use hashtags like so

[40:22] incorrectly like #ans answer the

[40:24] question. I love this other one here. It

[40:27] ends with #fix the problem. It's another

[40:30] very long novel going up against

[40:33] McDonald's giving he's giving away his

[40:34] full name. He's giving out all his

[40:36] information. He wants to chat with

[40:38] someone higher up. He wants to talk to

[40:40] McDonald's corporate about this epidemic

[40:43] in McDonald's across the nation, maybe

[40:45] even across the word the world. Connor

[40:48] Allen said, "Gambling Twitter is truly

[40:49] the best." Top today's top story, quote,

[40:52] "Fats is demanding a direct line of

[40:55] contact with McDonald's executives

[40:57] because they made him pull up at a

[40:59] drive-thru too many times." Incredible.

[41:02] I kind of want to start with Jeff

[41:03] because you you stood with McDonald's on

[41:05] this one. You held firm.

[41:07] >> What's it like looking back at this one?

[41:09] >> I loved it. I still it just made me

[41:11] smile thinking about it. The call, the

[41:14] audio of his call to corporate was one

[41:18] of the highlights of the year. Him

[41:20] trying to explain to this woman. And I

[41:24] assume we've all been there. I've

[41:25] probably been there more than you guys

[41:27] based on my gut, but

[41:30] they don't screw. Well, maybe they screw

[41:32] up a lot for you, but when McDonald's

[41:34] screws up, like their customer service

[41:37] is like they they make it right. They

[41:39] don't, you know, no 20-year-old at the

[41:42] cash going to fight with you. They just

[41:44] want to make it right. Um, what an

[41:47] absurd stance this whole thing was. But,

[41:50] you know, the magic of Twitter, like I

[41:53] got [ __ ] invested and drawn into the

[41:56] drawn into this thing. And looking back

[41:59] on it as we sit here at Christmas,

[42:01] really [ __ ] embarrassing on my part,

[42:03] but at the time, I couldn't resist. You

[42:06] didn't use the promo code mixori as uh

[42:08] as bad alluded to.

[42:10] >> May I suggest the promo code hashtag or

[42:13] sorry mixari?

[42:15] >> I I honestly I I I'm dead serious when I

[42:18] say this. I almost wish this wasn't

[42:20] included because I forgot about it and

[42:22] and I know fats isn't in good health

[42:24] right now. It it's like it was like why

[42:26] I didn't want Philip Rivers to come back

[42:28] to the NFL because I'm like man if this

[42:30] goes really bad for him this is what I'm

[42:32] going to remember him at. And I had like

[42:34] so many good conversations with fats

[42:36] over the year years like

[42:38] >> you remember the good ones.

[42:39] >> I but this I can't

[42:42] bless hope uh you know hope he's doing

[42:45] he's doing well and I know like people

[42:47] might have this memory of me and him

[42:49] >> going at each other me having fun with

[42:51] this McDonald's thing. um anytime like

[42:55] I'm always wishing him well and and hope

[42:57] the best for him in any like real life

[43:00] context, but I will always find humor in

[43:02] this McDonald's stuff.

[43:03] >> This was your obsession for sure, Jeff,

[43:05] though. Over the course of the year,

[43:06] like and you wanted the fats tweets in

[43:09] every show. We vote on the topics for I

[43:12] would go in and Jeff like Jeff barely

[43:14] ever votes on the topics either, but

[43:16] there'd be like a big yes like capitals

[43:18] bolded and stuff like that. He really

[43:20] really wanted this stuff. That's it for

[43:23] Jul J June. We're going to head into

[43:25] July. And this was the amazing arc with

[43:30] Jeff Nadoo taking a domestic flight.

[43:34] That became the biggest news not just on

[43:38] gambling Twitter. That was number one

[43:40] trending on Twitter. Jeff Nadoo taking a

[43:42] domestic flight because there was all

[43:44] this drama that he was on the no-fly

[43:46] list. And at the time, like we were all

[43:49] just like, "Okay, he's obviously not on

[43:50] the no-fly list." Haha. And then there

[43:52] was I think it was a poker event he was

[43:54] supposed to attend and he didn't make

[43:56] the flight. Elf said I'm about to take

[43:59] take off uh cash elf to make his flight

[44:02] at minus 1000. Nobody cares about me

[44:04] though. The real sweat is if Jeff Nadoo

[44:06] will be on the airplane today. Jeff

[44:08] Nadoo did not make the flight. Larry

[44:10] Legend responded said so are you flying

[44:12] today or what? And Jeff said no. Why?

[44:15] Alarm didn't go off. And that's when the

[44:17] gears started really turning like, okay,

[44:20] he's definitely not at the no-fly list,

[44:21] but like is he actually on the no-fly

[44:23] list? And then he actually posted a

[44:25] video in the airport. His flight then

[44:28] got cancelled and he still couldn't take

[44:30] off, which again the tinfoil hat was on.

[44:33] Is this guy not actually allowed to fly?

[44:36] Babe Truth said, "Sir, Jeff Noo did not

[44:39] get on that plane. It is the meme of uh

[44:42] the guy whispering into George Bush's

[44:44] ear, but it's big cat photoshopped onto

[44:46] George Bush's face. Kesh, you said, "I

[44:48] need Koshi presenting sponsoring circles

[44:51] off. I need a Koshi market." And if Nadu

[44:53] shows up on that stream tonight, Khi

[44:55] posted a market. 20% chance it was fake.

[44:58] It wasn't actually a real market. But

[44:59] guess what? Nadu flew. Bar still held a

[45:04] live stream where they had boots on the

[45:06] ground at the gate at the airport with

[45:08] Rico Bosco looking on in absolute horror

[45:12] as Jeff Nadoo comes off the plane. He

[45:15] indeed did take that domestic flight and

[45:18] again this was the number one trending

[45:20] thing on Twitter at the time. It hashtag

[45:23] Nadoo was number one on Twitter. I mean

[45:26] just just amazing the levels that we got

[45:28] here. Who wants to start on this one? My

[45:30] favorite memory of this was was actually

[45:32] Kesh repeatedly saying he doesn't think

[45:34] that Nadoo can fly and Nad would get

[45:37] [ __ ] like he was livid. He DM'd me

[45:40] like in a personal like Telegram chat

[45:43] once and was like like like bro like

[45:46] when we were doing the show like manto

[45:48] man be like like like like a heartfelt

[45:50] like bro like I need you to stop

[45:56] like like I respect you as a man.

[45:59] >> Respect me and stop.

[46:01] >> Was he still on this on the Friday show

[46:02] at the time?

[46:03] >> Yeah, he was.

[46:04] >> Yeah. Yeah.

[46:05] >> Friday. So while this is all going on

[46:06] Wow. We saw Adam

[46:08] >> is the one of the best bits in the

[46:11] history of internet bits like the way it

[46:14] started from nothing. The fact that no

[46:17] one can trace back the no fly list

[46:20] thing. the fact that the I don't know

[46:24] exactly why his flight got cancelled,

[46:26] but that there was it was a rumor that

[46:28] some riders took took info and

[46:34] called customer service and got his

[46:37] flight cancelled from like when he

[46:40] posted it a month prior. Th this this

[46:43] was my this is this is if I'm given an

[46:46] award for best thing of the year, this

[46:48] is it for me. Uh it was all around as

[46:52] you're SAYING THIS GOT WAY THIS GOT WAY

[46:54] OUT OF CONTAINMENT. This was like

[46:57] outside of gambling Twitter into like

[47:00] some normie in your life maybe like have

[47:02] you heard of Jeff Noo like did you see

[47:04] this?

[47:05] >> I I feel like gambling Twitter the the

[47:07] whole Twitter world was unified for at

[47:09] least an hour of of waiting and

[47:12] anticipation. I remember watching this

[47:13] stream live as he pulled out of the

[47:15] gate. Magical moments. I remember tell

[47:18] like my wife is like what's hap and I'm

[47:19] like trying to explain to her like the

[47:21] elation like why I'm the joy and she's

[47:24] like what the hell are you talking

[47:25] about? She's like a grown man took a

[47:27] flight. Like what's the big deal? LIKE

[47:29] YOU JUST DON'T GET IT. You don't

[47:30] understand. And I I'm like you can't you

[47:34] try to explain this to like someone who

[47:35] didn't know what was going on. They

[47:36] think you're [ __ ] mental. They think

[47:37] you're crazy.

[47:38] >> Yep. But Nudoo flew. He did fly. And

[47:41] that was the highlight of July. We go

[47:43] into August now. This was the month of

[47:46] Bet Bash and uh I think the biggest

[47:47] thing that came up here, Flip is a loser

[47:50] for [ __ ] deleting these tweets, but

[47:52] he went at KI, our presenting sponsor, I

[47:55] might add within two hours of the live

[47:59] circle back recording at Bet Bash. He

[48:02] went and and we were scrambling trying

[48:04] to figure out what like me Rob was

[48:06] thinking like what the hell are we going

[48:08] to do here? Rob had to basically kind of

[48:10] police the situation and play it down.

[48:12] But this was right before our live show.

[48:14] So essentially, Flopup saw a market that

[48:17] was left up after the event had already

[48:19] finished. It was a tennis match. He put

[48:21] down a ton of money and because of the

[48:25] house rules associated with prediction

[48:27] markets like Cal, they weren't able to

[48:29] void the bets. They were forced to give

[48:32] Flopup a little bit of a loss. And a

[48:34] little bit of a loss for Flopup is a

[48:36] very significant amount of money. Flopup

[48:38] was very upset about this. took his

[48:40] disdain for the decision public. He has

[48:44] since apologized profusely for it. He

[48:46] has since deleted all tweets associated

[48:48] with it. He's forgiven our sponsors.

[48:50] Koshi here, but the tweets about it.

[48:53] Reishi bet says, "It's funny seeing the

[48:54] virtue signaling reaction to the flop

[48:56] tennis thing. As if a single one of you

[48:58] wouldn't try to get a live moneyline bet

[49:01] and if you see a player walk into the

[49:02] net to retire and don't try to come up

[49:04] with some arbitrary ethical difference."

[49:06] Man of the VA said, "This seems very

[49:08] shady on Flop's part. Dude bet a [ __ ]

[49:10] ton aside that was already settled

[49:11] trying to squeeze value from a closed

[49:12] market. He's lucky they didn't keep his

[49:14] whole [ __ ] bagg and ban his account

[49:17] to be honest. Shady [ __ ] Andy Moler

[49:19] added fl probably should have tweeted

[49:21] that but the folks trying to nail him to

[49:22] a cross maybe should chill a bit too. Uh

[49:24] I got to start with Rob on this one. I'm

[49:26] sure you remember this one well.

[49:28] >> I do. Very uncomfortable for me. Uh

[49:31] Flopup is a friend. He came to me that

[49:33] day right before the live bet bash show

[49:35] Kalshi as our sponsor and he said like

[49:37] Rob like I don't think I can do this. I

[49:40] said explain to me the situation and

[49:42] then I told him I thought he was wrong.

[49:43] I said like listen I I don't think

[49:45] you're in the right here. I think he

[49:47] tried to take a shot and you at least

[49:49] received that well he did the show but

[49:51] you know most importantly it's a good

[49:52] thing that Flop has learned from these

[49:54] PR mistakes in the past. Right. And he's

[49:56] corrected them in the in the future.

[49:58] >> Haven't seen him do anything like that.

[49:59] >> Yeah. Haven't I haven't seen any real PR

[50:01] misses from Flop in recent weeks or

[50:03] anything along those lines.

[50:06] >> There's nobody like that is in person

[50:10] like a genuinely like he's such a a

[50:12] genuinely like good guy, happy character

[50:15] that a corner of the internet absolutely

[50:18] despised it. There's something about

[50:20] Fluff that like a certain element of

[50:24] people, I don't know what it is, want

[50:26] him dead. And so when this came up, all

[50:31] were were out for him. I remember after

[50:34] the recording, Rob taking it with me.

[50:36] Rob fluffed in a corn and like was he

[50:39] was just like, "Hey man, like

[50:42] >> I don't know if we can keep keep you on

[50:44] the show from this." And like THERE WAS

[50:46] PROBABLY AN HOUR THERE WHERE LIKE Cooler

[50:48] Head's head prevail where like you could

[50:50] see the like steam coming off Flop's

[50:53] head for A TOTAL SHOT. LIKE THIS WAS THE

[50:57] SHOT OF ALL SHOTS FROM A GUY WHO LOVES

[50:59] TAKING SHOTS and he's thinking he's all

[51:01] the money. Um yeah, glad to see that uh

[51:05] that he's really learned from that uh

[51:07] that experience. But um yeah, that was a

[51:09] fun like uh living that in the moment

[51:11] was an interesting couple of hours. I

[51:14] remember I would never tweet when I

[51:17] didn't understand what was going on at

[51:18] Khi um a certain thing and really put

[51:21] mess it up. So I gotta say it was

[51:23] disgusting by flop. I don't I don't

[51:25] appreciate that type of behavior and I

[51:27] would never do anything like that.

[51:29] >> So my go ahead.

[51:31] >> Every other like slide we've had so far

[51:33] is like truly insane people. This was

[51:36] like like Fluff's a smart guy. This is

[51:38] the most biggest miscalculation of all

[51:40] time. What do you think was going to

[51:42] happen here?

[51:43] >> What was it? His net loss was like 42K,

[51:45] something like that. There

[51:47] >> he was completely in the wrong.

[51:49] >> I I know, but but when when you lose

[51:51] that much money, you you kind of start

[51:54] to justify why you were you know what

[51:56] I'm the brain works in weird ways.

[51:58] >> Yeah.

[51:58] >> But like maybe message someone being

[52:01] like, "Do you think Twitter's gonna have

[52:03] my side here?" Which every single person

[52:05] on Earth would have said, "No, obviously

[52:07] not." You know, I w I just went to him

[52:11] and I said, "Flop, like, if this had

[52:13] happened to you, come to me first. I

[52:15] have a great relationship with Cali.

[52:17] Like, we could, but from my perspective,

[52:19] I I think you're wrong." And he's like,

[52:21] "Ah, you don't think I should have

[52:22] tweeted that?" I'm like, "No." Like, I

[52:24] really I really don't. But, uh, I love

[52:27] Flop. I don't I don't I don't want to

[52:28] bury you.

[52:29] >> So, so from my role as a producer,

[52:31] unlike Kenishious belief, I actually do

[52:32] like work here at the Hammer. I was

[52:34] getting set up for the show like an hour

[52:36] before the show's about to start. And I

[52:38] was in the room getting set up and

[52:39] everything. Uh Isaac walks in, Isaac

[52:42] Rose Burman, who's been on the show as

[52:43] well. He walks in and says, "You see

[52:44] what Fluff tweeted?" I'm like, "No." And

[52:47] I read it. I'm like, "Oh my [ __ ]

[52:49] god." Like we literally have to do a

[52:50] show in one hour. He walks in with a

[52:52] [ __ ] no hoodie on, refuses to take it

[52:56] off.

[52:57] >> Oh my god. Uh disaster, but uh

[52:59] thankfully it's been it's been squashed.

[53:01] >> Maybe he set that Novig thing up. Seeing

[53:03] what happened after, he set it up all

[53:05] from the start.

[53:05] >> Yeah, the long game. Maybe we actually

[53:08] talked about that on that show if you

[53:11] recall. Like we were we made jokes,

[53:12] Kesh, you made like a joke right off the

[53:14] top completely burying like bringing

[53:17] attention to the situation where I'm

[53:19] just like, "Oh my god, here we go." Like

[53:22] >> that to me was was my favorite circle

[53:25] back of the year. That that line.

[53:26] >> It was a good show.

[53:28] >> We had we pulled through had a great

[53:29] show, I think.

[53:30] >> And then and GRP was like in the

[53:32] audience.

[53:33] >> Oh, GRP was eating it up. He's [ __ ]

[53:35] live tweeting about. Oh man, what a

[53:37] >> the notepad all that. Lots of great

[53:39] stuff from Bet Bash. But we do move now

[53:41] into September next month on the

[53:44] calendar. We have GRP coming up first

[53:46] because over this summer he went on a

[53:49] new venture trying to get a pick selling

[53:51] service up and running with payments

[53:54] going through Western Union I think it

[53:56] was or I think checks basically in the

[53:59] mail and it was a rough start to the

[54:02] season. I we're confident nobody bought

[54:05] his pics other than one person who was a

[54:07] friend from high school. That is what we

[54:09] believe. And after a very rough start to

[54:12] his pixelling service performance-wise,

[54:15] besides we're not winning, he said,

[54:18] "Which one of these is the reason for my

[54:20] big announcement tomorrow? One, secret

[54:22] formula being sold. Two, I'll be a wager

[54:26] talk handicapper. Three, there will be

[54:28] GRP wins cryptocoin. 44 moving to Vegas

[54:31] to work in a sports book. Uh it turned

[54:34] out he was selling the secret formula

[54:36] for I think six figures. I think it was

[54:39] like

[54:40] >> 250k he wanted

[54:42] >> and uh he was retiring from NFL sides

[54:45] and then he was betting sides like next

[54:46] weekend but he briefly retired from

[54:48] betting NFL sides. Covers Vanzachs. I'm

[54:51] a grown adult and I've watched the GRP

[54:53] wins retirement/sec formula video three

[54:55] times in the last hour and read every

[54:57] comment. I need a psychiatrist. Hashtag

[55:00] circleback. Jeff, uh, you're you're I

[55:03] think you're GRP's biggest fan among us.

[55:04] You met him in person. Describe describe

[55:07] what went down here.

[55:10] >> I I you know, when I met him, I told him

[55:12] I think he was in big trouble. The whole

[55:14] touting thing, the PO box, it was all a

[55:18] disaster and it was all for our

[55:21] entertainment.

[55:22] And honestly, at a certain point, it got

[55:24] a bit exhausting.

[55:26] >> Yeah. even even for

[55:30] for me. But, you know, George will

[55:31] always do something crazy to pull people

[55:34] back in, even for uh for a little

[55:38] um yep, that's all I got. Meeting him

[55:41] was watching him like try to pick up

[55:44] like a 20-year-old pretty blonde girl in

[55:46] person was like a sight to behold, a

[55:49] true highlight. And we can't forget

[55:52] Jacob. I don't I hope I I I don't know

[55:54] what I'm not privy to it, but he got

[55:56] Benson to pick him up at the airport in

[55:59] a limo like you know they wind and dine

[56:02] together and then he ends up not

[56:04] entering the contest. That is one of the

[56:07] ballsier moves that's ever you know we

[56:10] talk about did pick up the tab for their

[56:13] steak dinner but there was a lot by Jeff

[56:16] Benson in the way of you know I think a

[56:17] limo picked him up and they were they

[56:19] gave him a good room at circa. Yeah,

[56:22] >> they didn't have one entry. And to this

[56:26] day, Benson, like you see the replies to

[56:28] JRP's Weed, Benson has never forgiven

[56:30] him. And I love it.

[56:32] >> George promises for what it's worth, 10

[56:35] the full load next year.

[56:36] >> Oh yeah. Like he did last year, like

[56:39] he'll be coming to this season.

[56:41] >> If GRP is a stock, it's like you're

[56:43] you're buying like the the bottom right

[56:45] now. I mean, I'm just even going through

[56:47] like his engagement on his tweets right

[56:50] now. like it's bottom of the barrel now

[56:53] from a guy that was like people couldn't

[56:55] get enough of what he was saying for a

[56:56] few months there. Uh it's I don't know.

[56:59] Jeff always thinks he's gonna like come

[57:01] back and do something.

[57:03] >> I I don't know if he's

[57:04] >> Well, what did he do a couple weeks ago

[57:06] that had people like dieless AND

[57:08] >> STEPHEN SKIP? THAT'S FAIR. That's fair.

[57:11] He got that.

[57:12] >> Well, this is like a monster. He hits a

[57:14] he like a pool host off the Astros sort

[57:17] of moonshot. But I agree with you,

[57:19] Kenisha, and I've told him and I've said

[57:21] it on the show, his like

[57:24] not that whatever he was doing before

[57:27] was

[57:29] it entertained me, but this like weekly

[57:32] tracking of his futures is the worst. I

[57:37] said it to him so I could say it again.

[57:38] It's like telling someone about your

[57:40] poker hand stories. It'd be like me

[57:42] telling you about a par save that I had

[57:45] on the golf course this summer. No one

[57:48] gives a [ __ ] It is the worst content

[57:51] and it's really the only bit he's got

[57:53] right now.

[57:54] >> The selling pick execution

[57:57] has to be one of the most mismanaged

[58:00] him like possible. LIKE IF YOU COULD

[58:04] HAVE JUST done it, you would have had

[58:06] even like some of for like you know hund

[58:08] just to see the pics or for the content

[58:10] itself. But he couldn't even get it into

[58:12] a format where anyone could actually buy

[58:15] it. And so he got zero buys and then

[58:18] quitted after two weeks.

[58:21] >> Go ahead.

[58:22] >> I say if GRP was the kind of person who

[58:24] could execute that then he wouldn't be

[58:26] as loved as he is

[58:29] exeute simple pick package is why he's

[58:32] at the peak

[58:33] >> and hint like come on Kesh like in the

[58:35] winter he's going to bring that barbecue

[58:38] into the garage and you're going to like

[58:40] laugh your head off

[58:42] >> this summer. this upcoming summer, he's

[58:44] going to turn over one of those boards

[58:45] and there's going to be a [ __ ] snake

[58:46] underneath and it's going to blow up,

[58:48] man. Like, he will find a way.

[58:50] >> In the video series we did, Jeff asked,

[58:53] "You ever found a snake under one of

[58:54] these boards?" He says, "No."

[58:57] >> What the [ __ ] I thought you found

[58:58] snake. And then, and then the way that

[59:00] he, you know, like Jeff was going in to

[59:02] flip a board and JP's like, "No, no, no.

[59:03] You don't want to go that close." Jeff's

[59:05] like, "I can assure you that there's not

[59:08] going to be a snake under this board.

[59:10] like I there will not be a snake here.

[59:12] >> I I think where he really jumped the

[59:14] shark was when like he became more

[59:15] self-aware of the content. We we really

[59:18] lost the authenticity of it and I think

[59:20] that's where it really started the

[59:21] downfall. But

[59:22] >> something will bring us back in. I I I

[59:24] do believe Jeff there.

[59:26] >> I don't think he can like hold I don't

[59:28] think he can like

[59:29] >> it'll be tough for him to have a bit

[59:31] that is like gonna hold or like get him,

[59:34] you know, any sort of like content

[59:36] opportunities. But I just mean, you

[59:40] know, for all the strikeouts, like there

[59:43] is always going to be like a pending

[59:45] moonshot.

[59:46] >> He needs to hit a banger at the NFL

[59:48] draft. And I think that'll get us

[59:49] everyone back in. Maybe maybe that's

[59:51] what he needs.

[59:52] >> Super Bowl MVP goes to a lineman this

[59:54] year.

[59:56] >> He's back.

[59:58] >> He's back. Uh, speaking of NFL bets,

[60:01] we're staying in September. Was pretty

[60:02] loaded for stuff here actually on this.

[60:04] Uh we had the quite possibly the worst

[60:06] beat in NFL betting history. Maybe not,

[60:09] but one of the biggest ones, Hall of

[60:11] Fame worst beat where the Rams they were

[60:14] down 2726. They were about to kick a

[60:16] field goal. The spread was three and a

[60:19] half.

[60:20] If if the kick had just made it past the

[60:23] div, if it missed or it went in, it

[60:26] would have been a win on the spread. It

[60:29] was um plus three and a half for the

[60:32] Rams. So all this kick

[60:36] it to the goal post essentially or if it

[60:39] gets blocked like it did

[60:42] fall on the ball but the Eagles house it

[60:45] one of their linemen I think pick it up

[60:46] runs it in and again as time expires one

[60:49] of the worst beats of all time but as

[60:51] China says this stuff

[60:52] >> yeah every week you see something like

[60:54] this right Rob? Yeah, that was the

[60:55] classic ch that this is where China's

[60:57] bit started about like there's no such

[60:59] thing as bad beats when like the most

[61:01] ridiculous things were happening in

[61:03] sports and he's just like a this happens

[61:05] every weekend you know this happens

[61:06] every weekend that a kick gets blocked

[61:08] at the wire and for some reason every

[61:11] defensive lineman who's just taught to

[61:12] like fall on the ball to end the game he

[61:14] picks it scoop and score for a

[61:16] touchdown. That one was an absurd one.

[61:18] Luckily I was not on that one. Uh, I

[61:21] don't know if any of you guys were, but

[61:23] like that would have that would have

[61:25] significantly altered my my weekend. I I

[61:28] certainly I don't know if I would have

[61:30] >> I remember the friend of Hitman was on

[61:32] that one for sure.

[61:33] >> No, it makes a lot of sense. Naturalb

[61:34] born loser.

[61:38] Uh, next up from also in September, I

[61:41] wanted to highlight the significance of

[61:44] prediction markets having their own

[61:46] dedicated episode of South Park where

[61:49] Khi was directly mentioned and Koshi was

[61:52] directly shown on screen. In fact, Koshi

[61:55] interface was used on screen for the

[61:57] specific episode and you could actually

[62:00] use Khi to predict what would be said

[62:03] during the episode, what words would be

[62:05] said during the episode. So, just wanted

[62:06] to give a highlight there and a shout

[62:08] out to our sponsors over at Kow. You can

[62:10] sign up to Cali. We talked about them

[62:11] already with the link in the description

[62:13] or the QR code that is on screen right

[62:16] now. But a very large testament to how

[62:19] far prediction markets took off. I mean,

[62:21] you think about this the start of 2025,

[62:24] even something like this would have felt

[62:25] like insane, but that is the growth

[62:27] level that they displayed. Last thing

[62:28] that I have for September, uh, Salvo

[62:31] Betts faking his own death in order to

[62:34] help drive his pixel service. Salvo Bets

[62:37] tweeted, "Really sad news to report you

[62:39] from the Salvo Bets family. Salvo Bets

[62:41] tragically passed away in Mexico. He

[62:43] drowned in the last Kenyatta's waves

[62:45] pool. Really sad to share this news as

[62:48] his passion was sports betting and he

[62:49] always told us that heartbreak emoji.

[62:52] April 8, 2005, September 1st, 2025." And

[62:56] then I tweeted me dead. Nah, I just

[62:59] wanted to shake things up for what I got

[63:01] back. Who's ready for some plays tonight

[63:04] from a ghost? Hashtag back from the

[63:07] grave. Uh Joe,

[63:09] >> I loved it. I loved that.

[63:11] >> It says, "This might be the biggest

[63:12] solution I've ever seen on Twitter.

[63:14] Faking your own death is a new Twitter

[63:16] engagement low." Go ahead, George, Jeff.

[63:18] >> I just It's one of my favorites of the

[63:20] whole year. You want to like,

[63:23] you know, like who could do that? How do

[63:25] you do that? But my brain just like I

[63:28] died of laughter at that point.

[63:31] >> From the grave card has to be like one

[63:33] of the best cards of all time from

[63:35] everything he won. He does it say he

[63:37] died in a wave pool.

[63:38] >> THAT THAT THAT'S the part that I can't

[63:41] remember spec the specifics of that. The

[63:44] last kinyatta's wave poolool like

[63:47] tragically wrong.

[63:49] Every part of this just sticks every

[63:52] part. Honestly, I'm a size package.

[63:56] >> Salvo Bats. Oh man. I will say a guy

[63:59] made a name for himself. I never [ __ ]

[64:00] heard of him until the the wave.

[64:02] >> I haven't heard of him since.

[64:04] >> That's true. I guess I haven't heard of

[64:05] him. Maybe he actually did die in the

[64:07] wave in the last kinyatta's wave

[64:09] poolool.

[64:09] >> Uh then now we're gonna move into

[64:12] October and this is where we really hit

[64:15] a historical milestone for 2025. We hit

[64:19] the century

[64:21] minus 100 units uh from Steve Feeds pig

[64:25] selling service in 2025. But important

[64:28] thing to preface this is that he was up

[64:31] 250 units from 2020 to 2024 which is

[64:33] important. So if you've been tailing him

[64:35] since 2020, you're still up and still

[64:37] doing very much fine. Rob said, "Turns

[64:39] out Blue Horseshoe's new high volume

[64:41] strategy was really just a speedrun to

[64:43] going broke. Congrats on minus 100x." Uh

[64:46] Adrian Badgerski posted the proof proof

[64:49] of history. The year to date was the

[64:51] time minus 101.8. Last time Jason told

[64:54] me on Monday was at minus18.

[64:57] I'm I I still think we're we're in the

[64:59] historical range where we'll finish the

[65:00] year minus 100. Is that true Rob?

[65:02] >> As of recording he's minus18.36

[65:06] on

[65:06] >> however in 2020 2024.

[65:08] >> Correct. Plus 250.

[65:10] >> Okay. Uh there was a post that was

[65:13] unfortunately deleted here but Adrian

[65:14] Bad drives a correction. This is the

[65:16] second time Fezic hit the century mark

[65:17] in units lost. That's reported there.

[65:19] I'm reading off the tweeted. That's not

[65:21] my words necessarily. 2017 he only

[65:24] needed four and a half months to get

[65:26] there. That is again according to Adrien

[65:27] Badgerski. Um and good distinction here.

[65:31] Beat Al's 44 says I assume this doesn't

[65:34] include the fees his poor literally and

[65:37] figuratively clients fork over. So no,

[65:38] if you've been tailing the plays, you

[65:40] are down over a hundred units on the

[65:42] season. if you started tailing in 2025

[65:44] that is. And you were also paying for

[65:47] this service. So you're down more than

[65:49] the minus 118 or thereabouts in units.

[65:52] Uh Rob, this was really a historical

[65:54] milestone.

[65:54] >> Yeah. But you're you're trashing the guy

[65:55] as if he's not giving a free dinner to

[65:57] all the people who lost on the service.

[65:59] I mean, at least he's buying them dinner

[66:01] after the fact.

[66:02] >> Sagenos.

[66:03] >> Yeah. I don't know what's what's I I

[66:05] listen, you guys know my opinion on Fez

[66:09] at this point. There's obviously some

[66:10] beef. The biggest thing to me is that

[66:13] like he does he what he he compares

[66:15] himself to others in the space all the

[66:17] time and especially to me you know well

[66:21] like Rob loses you know look at the

[66:23] forward progress record look at the hit

[66:25] the books record look at this and

[66:26] whatever it's like we're very honest

[66:28] with the audience AND WE DON'T [ __ ]

[66:29] SELL THE PLAYS how do we not see the

[66:31] difference here one like one way or

[66:33] another we're content creators we're

[66:35] trying to give out plays that win he's

[66:37] selling a service that's down a lot I

[66:40] mean at this point. There's nothing

[66:41] really more to say on it. I that I

[66:43] haven't said in the past before. It's

[66:44] getting crazy, Kirk.

[66:46] >> Well, it's just crazy that like the

[66:48] February story that Fez was in, like at

[66:51] that point, Fez was still like the the

[66:53] meme that Peanut always says of like

[66:55] Fezics a winning sports better, but blah

[66:58] blah blah. Like, yeah,

[66:59] >> now that he is this being a speedrun

[67:02] into like, wow, now he's down a hundred

[67:05] units on his service. Like it's crazy to

[67:08] think that like in January I would have

[67:10] thought Fezic was a winning sports

[67:11] better.

[67:12] >> Yep. Same. I mean I I Go ahead Peanut.

[67:15] >> In March I thought he was a winning

[67:16] sports bender who thought 17year-olds

[67:18] were attractive.

[67:22] >> But now he's a loser as well. You know

[67:25] like the thing that really gets me about

[67:27] the whole thing is that along the like

[67:30] the service went down and then he he's

[67:32] like nobody has an edge on sides or

[67:34] totals anymore. like no one has an edge.

[67:37] were pivoting and he started like firing

[67:39] all these props Matt and and like taking

[67:42] them literally taking them from other

[67:44] touts and like other places and other

[67:46] pieces of content and releasing them and

[67:49] continuing to lose and then like firing

[67:52] teas like at the beginning of the year

[67:53] it's like no teasers this year like no

[67:56] one has the teaser prices that we need

[67:57] to bet now all of a sudden teasers are

[67:59] back like anything to try to just scrape

[68:02] by and get some more units back on the

[68:04] table. It's so nuts at this point. It's

[68:07] It's honestly like it if I was writing a

[68:10] comedy skit for like Saturday Night Live

[68:13] that you could just take exactly what's

[68:16] happened in real time for this guy over

[68:17] the year and it it would it would make

[68:19] every better laugh. Staying in the same

[68:22] month here, we had this two pick parlay

[68:25] from at bet with the boys, the minus

[68:27] 652leg

[68:30] SGP, which contained the Clemson money

[68:33] line at minus 558 and the Penn State

[68:37] money line at minus 274. Now, if

[68:41] something sounds off about that, it's

[68:42] because it is. If he had just taken the

[68:44] Clemson money line on its own, he would

[68:46] have had a better price at minus 558

[68:49] than the two-legg SGP at minus 652. He

[68:53] says this is the most $767

[68:57] in the history of the world. Step one,

[69:00] deposit 5K to Novig. Step two, win 767.

[69:04] Step three, enjoy your winnings. Now,

[69:07] what also happened with this, not only

[69:08] was it incredibly stupid to post this,

[69:11] Penn State lost. Therefore, the bet lost

[69:14] and he could have just gotten a better

[69:15] price and a winning bet had he just bet

[69:19] on the Clemson money line. BA Analytics

[69:22] Porter, who we've seen on the Friday

[69:23] edition of this show, said, "I really

[69:25] appreciate your customers. They are

[69:26] deeply needed for the betting

[69:28] ecosystem." And then he says, "My guy,

[69:30] it was a joke. Jesus Christ almighty."

[69:33] And there were a lot of people like

[69:35] Angry Mike Shia, sorry if I said that

[69:38] wrong. Says, "No, it wasn't. Shut the

[69:40] [ __ ] up." There were a lot of replies

[69:42] that said that this in fact was not a

[69:44] joke. It's not that long ago. Do we

[69:45] remember this one?

[69:46] >> Oh yeah. I mean this is like a Foszen

[69:49] bit except the guy that did it is a

[69:51] complete [ __ ] That's the way I I I

[69:54] could see Foszen leaning into something

[69:56] like you know big parlay a couple big

[69:59] money line favorites or something like

[70:00] that but the guy didn't realize that the

[70:03] price was actually there. There will not

[70:05] there there's actually been two really

[70:06] bad bets this year. It's been this guy.

[70:08] And there was one guy who made a bet

[70:10] that actually couldn't win. I don't know

[70:12] if you recall that recently as well. He

[70:14] bet like some sort of combination on

[70:16] DraftKings that couldn't possibly win

[70:18] college basketball game. Right.

[70:19] >> Right.

[70:20] >> Th those can't be t these people are

[70:22] beyond help. Like there's no helping

[70:24] someone who cannot look at that when

[70:26] they're adding like a leg to a parlay

[70:29] and don't realize it pays worse than

[70:31] just a single.

[70:32] >> So it happened because of the quirks

[70:33] with prediction markets and and the

[70:35] parlay engine that they're that they're

[70:37] currently uh rolling out which is why

[70:39] this could happen not wouldn't happen

[70:40] necessarily at a traditional sports

[70:42] book. I was gonna say this might be the

[70:43] only time in history

[70:45] >> that this will ever happen like going

[70:48] forward or has happened in the past that

[70:50] because like that's obviously a glitch

[70:51] of a new prediction market parlay. So he

[70:55] might be the only person to ever lose a

[70:57] bet in this.

[70:58] >> I wouldn't be so sure about that because

[70:59] that was Novig and Flop's there now and

[71:01] he likes to steal from from people as

[71:04] well. So you never know. I have put in

[71:06] uh extra leg to an SGP bet before to

[71:10] which made the odds worse because I

[71:12] wanted to disguise the action in the

[71:13] [ __ ] leg lost. So actually I have

[71:16] specifically done this

[71:18] >> maybe before parlay I'm saying parlay

[71:22] not not SGP

[71:23] >> I think we found peanut batter's burner.

[71:25] No this guy.

[71:28] >> Uh we move into November. This is the

[71:29] last month that we're going to cover on

[71:31] the best of the year because in December

[71:33] I feel this stuff is already quite

[71:34] fresh. We're going to go into November.

[71:36] Two pieces of content remaining. This

[71:38] one got a huge laugh out of the Monday

[71:40] show. Greg Aaronburgg said, "Should bets

[71:43] be voided? Here's a new angle that you

[71:45] probably haven't considered when it

[71:46] comes to avoiding kicker props." So Stu

[71:48] Grogan says, "So they should void the

[71:50] people that would have the over and take

[71:53] the loss, the under. Would love that,

[71:54] but you can't have it both ways." Greg

[71:57] says, "Nothing should ever void." So six

[72:00] God at LA Ram CEO proposed this theory.

[72:03] So, at kickoff, some crazy fan runs onto

[72:06] the field with a bomb strapped to their

[72:07] chest and completely blows up and takes

[72:10] the kicker out with them. They stop the

[72:12] game to clean up the mess and resume.

[72:14] They shouldn't void that kicker's over

[72:16] under on points or field goals made. Uh

[72:18] Kirk, do you think in that scenario we

[72:20] might get a void on their player props?

[72:22] >> Yeah, I sto I stood with with God Tio or

[72:26] whatever his name is. I agree.

[72:28] >> And in that scenario, they should void.

[72:30] I do agree.

[72:31] >> Okay. Glad glad we are we are able to

[72:33] get that distinction there. Uh maybe

[72:36] sometimes

[72:38] >> it's like the the scene from Batman like

[72:41] with Bane with like HINES WARD. HE'S THE

[72:44] GUY WHO'S LIKE I'VE GOT THE TOUCHDOWN.

[72:46] THAT COUNTS. THAT COUNTS. I've got him

[72:50] erupting to flames.

[72:52] >> Yeah.

[72:53] >> Maybe just maybe we we'd get a void in

[72:56] in an instance like that. That that's a

[72:58] that's a Hall of Fame tweet in my like

[73:00] if we had just a Hall of Fame single

[73:02] singular tweets, I will never read that

[73:06] back and not laugh. If you give me a

[73:08] month in between that and I read it

[73:10] back, I'm going to laugh every single

[73:12] >> There's like that and then the T-Bone

[73:13] tweet. I think those are

[73:14] >> T-bone.

[73:15] >> Those are the ones that kind of

[73:16] immortalize.

[73:17] >> But you need the context of the T-Bone.

[73:19] Like if you don't know the context

[73:21] behind it, you you're not going to get

[73:22] it. this one. Anyone who bets could read

[73:25] it and be like, "This is the most insane

[73:27] example that this guy has." Like, how

[73:29] did that even pop into his head? Like,

[73:31] yeah.

[73:32] >> He's looking for some, hey, you think

[73:34] nothing should ever get voided. Well, I

[73:36] >> Well, he's looking for it's void

[73:37] culture. Hashtag void culture as the

[73:40] boomers would do.

[73:41] >> Yeah, absolutely. And the final thing

[73:43] that has made it to the best of the

[73:45] year, I think I think it had to be the

[73:47] best way to end the show. Rob tweeting

[73:49] weekly tradition. People complain the

[73:51] NFL is unwatchable, then spend the next

[73:53] Sunday watching and betting every game.

[73:55] If it's truly a bad product is a simple

[73:57] solution, stop. So on the Monday show,

[73:59] we pulled up all the old tweets of Rob

[74:02] who said I talked about how unwatchable

[74:05] the NFL is. He was not aware of this

[74:08] segment going into the show. Jeff

[74:10] masterminded it behind the scenes. I put

[74:12] it together. Kirk was aware of it. And

[74:14] Rob, you got called out live on Circle

[74:18] Back. How did this feel?

[74:20] Um, in the moment, what it took me about

[74:23] 30 seconds to realize what was happening

[74:26] because I saw these tweets coming up on

[74:28] screen and I read the first one which

[74:30] had unwatchable in it. Unwatchable

[74:32] without the use of recreational drugs

[74:34] and then I knew I got God and at that

[74:37] point I had to own it. Uh, I I I didn't

[74:41] know these existed obviously or I

[74:42] wouldn't have my take. But that's it. I

[74:45] mean, listen, I I I preach this every

[74:47] single week on Circles Off. When you see

[74:49] a [ __ ] tweet, like, don't delete it.

[74:51] Just [ __ ] own up to it. And uh I

[74:54] mean, what really bothers me about that

[74:57] as a whole is I didn't think you guys

[75:00] were clever enough to hatch up a scheme

[75:02] like that. Like, that was in the moment.

[75:05] I don't know who masterminded this out

[75:08] of you three.

[75:08] >> Somebody messaged Jeff. Jeff relayed it

[75:11] to me and then I put it together for the

[75:13] show. And then I I guess Jeff told Kirk

[75:15] ahead of time,

[75:16] >> right? So the originator was outside of

[75:18] this group and you guys were just Steam

[75:19] chasers basically, which makes a lot of

[75:21] sense. Makes more sense in my head.

[75:23] >> But Jeff came to me with the idea and we

[75:25] absolutely ran with it. And I think

[75:27] that's the best way to end off the the

[75:30] the year 2025. This is the end of year

[75:34] special. We're going to be back on

[75:35] Monday with our typical live show, but

[75:36] we do our shows every Monday live at

[75:38] 1:00 p.m. Eastern time and every Friday

[75:40] 8 a.m. Eastern time for the time being.

[75:41] So make sure you're subscribed to

[75:42] channel. Rob, uh, as CEO, creator, this

[75:45] is like circle back as your brainchild.

[75:47] This is like a show you tried to launch

[75:49] for a while. Let's give you the last

[75:50] word of the year.

[75:51] >> Yeah, just appreciate everyone who tunes

[75:53] in to all these episodes. Obviously,

[75:55] couldn't do it without you guys. Uh, we

[75:57] pivoted to a live format for Mondays

[75:58] this year. That's been, you know, really

[76:00] wellreceived. And there'll be some

[76:02] changes down the road on this channel as
